Description: The Wickenburg Art Club selects artists and craftspersons of excellence to exhibit 3 days during the towns Gold Rush Days which is sponsored by the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce. Be aware there are two separately managed arts & crafts areas during Gold Rush Days. The Art Club manages 146 juried arts & crafts exhibitors on the librarys lawn and the Chamber manages arts & crafts, food and commercial exhibitors across Valentine Street at the Community Center.

Acceptance is based upon the appearance, uniqueness, originality, quality, market value and display of your work. You must have done the work. No mass-produced, resale, imported, kit or manufactured product is accepted. No odoriferous or food items are allowed. Artist must be present. Best booth awarded a ribbon and publicity.

Free RV parking, first come, first served. Security provided 7pm-7am beginning Thursday. Exhibitors are eligible to compete for $300 in cash prizes in separate Fine Art Show & Sale. The Art Clubs show is a part of the Chamber of Commerces Gold Rush event celebrating Towns gold mining history. The festival includes a street parade, rodeos, gold panning, melodrama, and ore mucking and drilling contests. A four day event celebrating Towns gold mining history. A/C show a

For three action-filled days, always the second full weekend in February, thousands of visitors and participants enjoy the multitude of activities that make this Chamber-sponsored event.

Festivities begin with a shoot-out on Frontier Street that kicks of a wild rootin-tootin western weekend. Spectators line the streets on Saturday as one of the largest parades in Arizona passes by. Cowboys from all over the country gather on Saturday and Sunday afternoon to participate in the rodeo. In the area around the Community Center families can enjoy a carnival, food booths, and arts and crafts.

A Tradition as old as the town itself, Gold Rush Days has become a part of Wickenburgs heritage. Contest events are enjoyable to watch and educational as well. See gold panning, a mucking and drilling contest, and other activities relating to the gold fever that created the town.

Music, dancing, a real old-fashioned melodrama, horses, floats and food - its all a part of Wickenburgs most action packed weekend of the year. Visitors from all over the world mix and mingle with cowboys and garter girls. This true old-west celebration demonstrates what western hospitality is all about "Out Wickenburg Way."An annual event for over 60 years, this is a celebration of Wickenburgs rich heritage. Space Fees
$200 each 10’ x 10’ Add $15 for each additional artist sharing the same space. Furnish all artists names. Add $25 if application postmark will be after December 15.

Special Event Art Club membership and a Town Business Permit are provided to each artisan. Applications for the show are accepted at anytime during the year. Jurying and acceptance notification will occur in approx. 30 days. BE SURE TO READ THE RULES!

The undersigned does hereby discharge, release and hold harmless, Wickenburg Art Club, Inc., their volunteers, all sponsoring organizations, The Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, its officers, employees, board members and agents, The Town of Wickenburg, it’s Town council, employees and agents, The Sheriff’s Posse and their agents from any and all manner of action, suits, damages, or claims whatsoever arising from any loss or damages or claims, to the person or property of the undersigned and/or persons who are assisting, as well as any bodily injury or property damage to other parties as a result of the undersigned’s products or actions, while in possession or under the supervision of Wickenburg Art Club, Inc. I hereby consent to the enforcement of all rules and guidelines. Furthermore, the undersigned artist hereby certifies that all display work is handcrafted and created by the seller. This contract is non-cancelable and non-transferable after Dec 15. There is a $25 fee for all returned checks. Wickenburg Art Club, Inc. has my permission to reproduce my artwork, through photos I have submitted, for the purpose of advertising the festival. Wickenburg Art Club, Inc. also has my permission to publish photographs taken of me, my booth and my artwork during the festival for purposes related to the promotion of the festival, past or future. Wickenburg Art Club, Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any exhibitor for failure to comply with their rules and regulations. I understand that Wickenburg Art Club, Inc. reserves the right to make final interpretation of all rules. I will use weights to adequately secure my display. I have read the accompanying RULES.

Wickenburg is at the intersection of Hwy 60 from Phoenix and Salome/Quartzsite, Hwy 93 from Kingman and Hwy 89 from Prescott. It is a one-hour drive from Prescott and 30 minutes from Sun City West which is northwest of Phoenix. To get to the library grounds from Phoenix turn right one block before the first "center of town" stop light; from Prescott/Kingman turn left one block before the second stop light; from Salome turn left after the third stop light.
