Arizona Aloha Festival

Location Tempe Town Lake
Tempe, AZ 8528
Dates March 13, 2010 - March 14, 2010 - CONFIRMED!
Description: Food Vendors: Tips

Festival attendees consistently rate and comment on the foods offered and the length of the food lines each year through our surveys.

They are a demanding bunch, and they know what they like: "it's the ono grinds!"

The Food Vendor Committee looks for a variety of foods that fit the theme of "local" foods (read: home cookin' from Hawaii and the South Pacific.) While many vendors want to just do teriyaki chicken, the Committee looks beyond that one menu item for other menu favorites.

The Committe also looks at the potential vendor's capacity to serve a LOT of people. Our attendees complain about long lines that move slowly and we listen. Experience with high volume special event food service is a definite plus.

Merchandise Vendors: Tips
Festival attendees are also vocal about our merchandise selection and quality. They want both island style and island lifestyle products. They are looking for everything from fine art to fine craftmanship. They are not excited about having too many imported goods that are not authentic and there are only so many teeshirts before they all begin to look alike.

The Merchandise Vendor Committee looks for a variety of products that not only will appeal to transplanted islanders but also appeal to a wide audience that loves colorful and tropical products of good quality.

From opening ceremonies on Saturday to the
last performance on Sunday, the Festival is
filled with the music, dance, song, food,
crafts, and island rhythms of Hawaii and Polynesia.
