| Description: | The Ride the Wave event is a three day Age Group swim meet held at the Aquatic Center. It is open to USA Swimming registered athletes and their teams. Teams from Phoenix, Flagstaff, Kingman, Yuma, Sierra Grande, and other locations will participate. Swimmers will compete in four competitive strokes; butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle. They will also swim all distances from 25 meters up through 800 meters. After the events on Saturday, the wave pool and water slide will be open for visiting swimmers. Schedule:Friday: 4 p.m. Warm-up and 5 p.m. StartSaturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. Warm-up and 9 a.m. Start.Saturday and Sunday events are expected to last until 3 - 4 p.m.For more information about registration and entry fees please visit The Havasu Stingrays Swim Team website. | |||
