The Mountain Artists Guild presents its 64th Annual Summer Festival of Fine Art and Crafts on the grounds of the Yavapai County Courthouse this coming August 10 &11, 2014. This juried Festival showcases a select group of about 140 fine artists and artisans on the grass, in the shade of the many tall trees that cover the historic Courthouse Square. Resting at 5,300 feet elevation and surrounded by the scenic mountains of Central Arizona, the Prescott Courthouse Square is an exceptionally attractive venue, a joy to exhibitors and visitors alike. This is especially so when it is really hot in Phoenix and other parts of the Southwest.

2014 marks the 64th year for this popular and successful festival founded by famous Cowboy Artist George Phippen, who was also a founder of the Mountain Artists Guild. Located along Prescott's infamous Whiskey Row, haunt of the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday, the Festival site is within easy walking distance of parking, restaurants and both modern and historic hotels. Our August Festival has become an important marketplace for participating artists to display and sell their works. The show is well-advertised and draws more than 7,000 art patrons. With your help we hope to make this 64th Festival the best ever.
