Surprise warrants a weekend stay for the whole family. Surprise Stadium is home for the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals 'Spring Training' and the Surprise Recreation Campus has a fishing lake, along with a 25 court Tennis & Racquet Complex.
Surprise is located 20 miles northwest of Phoenix. Just 45 minutes from downtown Phoenix, Surprise is where you can connect with the charm of mountain park lands, a regional lake and the untouched open Sonoran Desert.

Thunderbird Artists is heading west again! That is west of Phoenix Valley, in Arizona, to the City of Surprise! In 2005, Thunderbird Artists produced an extraordinary festival, set within 180 acres, on the Surprise Recreation Campus.
