Description:

From Wigwam Festival of Fine Art Website:

The Wigwam Festival of Art, hosted by the legendary Wigwam resort, and sponsored by the Western Art Collector Magazine, will provide you with three days of world-class art and exciting entertainment, all in an elegant outdoor setting. This event draws award-winning master artists of Western, Native American and Southwestern genres. You'll find contemporary bronze sculptures by Kim Obrzut, one of the first American Indian women to work in bronze, western bronze sculptures by Tim Harmon, and beautiful bronze and stone sculpture creations from Mike Greenfield, which reveal the soul of the stone and the spirit of the people.

This year, the featured artist is Sharon Brening who is known for her sensitive portraits of everyday Native American life. Her oils often depict Native children and elders. She is a member of the Western Artists of America, a prestigious invitational member group of artisans dedicated to preserving America's western heritage. Sharon won the gold medal for oil painting at the Annual Western Artists of America show and sale in Texas.

Treat yourself to al fresco dining on the majestic front lawn of this historic Arizona landmark and enjoy the Wigwam's signature dishes prepared in the garden by award-winning chefs, complimented by cocktails and superior fine wines. Relax and enjoy the best in Native American entertainment. Be enchanted by the stories and and music of Arvel Bird, master fiddler and Native American storyteller. Enjoy the music of Tony Duncan and Estun-Bah. Watch the traditional dancing of the colorful Yellow Bird Dancers and White Mountain Apache Crown Dancers.

This event will be a great opportunity for a getaway to indulge yourself in incredible art and stirring outdoor entertainment in a setting that has drawn discriminating visitors to the West Valley for decades.
