Description: | From Prescott Indian Art Market Website: The 18th Annual Prescott Indian Art Market will be held in the cool gardens of the Sharlot Hall Museum on July 11 & 12, 2015. The setting provides a beautiful backdrop for the show's impressive Indian-art. Featured are exquisite carvings, ceramics, sculpture, paintings, hand-woven baskets, blankets, and distinctive jewelry. Artists producing traditional and contemporary artwork are juried by distinguished American Indian artists. The Prescott Indian Art Market is one of the Southwests premier Indian-art Markets.
Plan to walk among American Indian demonstrators as they carve Katsina dolls, hammer silver, and weave baskets and rugs. Visit with the artists. Enjoy entertainment provided throughout the weekend in the outdoor amphitheater by Native American dancers, singers and musicians. Do not miss the mouth-watering Navajo fry bread.
Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday. No pets, please (except licensed service animals). Daily admission is: $10 general public; $8 for Museum members; and youth, 17-years and less, always FREE.
