Sedona Plein Air Festival Announces new additional theme for 2015!

In addition to the ongoing theme of the magical Sedona landscape a special addition of figurative painting will be explored at this years Sedona Plein Air Festival Oct 1724, 2015. Experience a Speakeasy Salon with a complete stage/bar/jazz night club environment created in the historical Theatre Studio of the Art Barn at the Sedona Arts Center. While 15 of the nations best plein air painters will be working in the landscape and exhibiting in the Special Exhibition Gallery all week long another group of nationally known figurative painters will be working during the day painting from models in the adjacent Speakeasy Salon.

The Speakeasy Salon will only be open at Happy Hour as figurative artists finish their works from the day and sit back with you for a well-deserve drink. Specialty cocktails will be served at the speakeasy bar that have been created just for this occasion. Models and artists will mingle with the guests each evening with music to create the jazzy environment of an underground party from the 1920s. Tickets for the Speakeasy Salon will grant guests entry for the duration of the week. Drinks are free.
