The first Best of the West on Route 66 is right around the corner September 25th 27th! Many of the key people, groups and organizations that made last years International Festival so successful have committed to bringing this new annual event to Kingman. In collaboration with the Kingsmen and Mohave County Fairgrounds, the event will provide all of the elements that tourists and locals love about our community cars and cowboys!

Car shows, entertainment and vendors in Locomotive Park have been added to the mix of local favorites - the Andy Devine Days Parade, Rodeo and 100 Club Dinner. The opening ceremony will be Friday evening at Locomotive Park and new inductions to the Route 66 Walk of Fame will be held Saturday afternoon. Interested parties can purchase a brick on the Walk of Fame by visiting the Kingman Chamber of Commerce website at www.********.***.

The Route 66 Authors, Artists & Collectors will return to share their knowledge and treasures of Route 66 with you. Their displays will be at the Boys & Girls Club in downtown Kingman. Free concerts will be provided throughout the weekend in Locomotive Park plus a special appearance by Flash Cadillac will be held at Lee Williams High School for a minimal charge of $20 through the Chamber website as well.
