Payson Art League (PAL) began its history in 1976 when a group of local artists united together for the purpose of improving, fostering and promoting art and art education in the Payson area. The first officers were elected in 1979. PAL was incorporated in 1981, and is a 501-C-3 not for profit organization.

Payson Art League is a friendly, dedicated group of artists and artisans in a variety of mediums who like to share their knowledge and techniques with others. At PAL monthly meetings a demonstration or presentation from an artist, with a strong background in their respective medium, is available and willing to share their line of expertise with members and guests.
PAL sponsors two shows each year: 'Neath the Rim Artists Studio Tour in May and the ARToberFEST Fine Art and Fine Craft show in October, at the Mazatzal Casino Event Center.

We would welcome all artists, amateur and professional, or art lovers to visit us. We meet at the Church of the Nazarene at 200 E. Tyler Parkway on the third Tuesday of the month. Bring your friends and your artwork for "Show 'n Share", refreshments, and socializing at 6:00PM. Brief meeting at 6:30PM followed by presentation.
