45th Annual Sun City Fall Arts and Crafts Festival - Sundial Recreation Center, features raffles and award-winning hand-crafted items from more than 40 clubs in Sun City, selling calligraphy, china painting, photography, paintings, silvercraft, needle crafts, ceramics, clay, wood and metal crafts, stained glass, hand weaving, crocheting, quilting, lapidary, pottery, entertainment and more, free admission and parking, Fri 8 am 4 pm, Sat 8 am 3 pm, (***) ***-****
Although this is an "arts and craft" sale, it truly is mostly art vs. craft. The pottery is gallery quality and the jewelry could certainly be sold in any high end boutique in Arizona. The metal and wood products are outstanding and this is just a small sample of the wonderful products available. Two of the benefits - the fact that all is hand made and one of a kind is a big benefit and the fact that these good would cost considerably more anywhere else is another.
This is the perfect venue to pick up an extra special holiday gift.
