Dates May 20, 2017 - May 21, 2017
Description:

From Willcox Wine Country Spring Festival Website:

We are a consortium of Arizona Farm Wineries located in the Willcox area in the southeastern part of the state. We invite you to visit our tasting rooms and enjoy our locally grown and produced wines.

Spend some time exploring the Plan Your Trip area of this website so you can take advantage of all that this region has to offer.

We put on two wine festivals each year, one in the Spring, the third weekend in May, and one in the Fall, the third weekend in October. Our festival was rated by Fodor's Travel as one of the top-ten wine festivals in North America! Each festival is a weekend-long celebration featuring Arizona wines from the Willcox region, fantastic live music, and scrumptious food. Find more information on the Festivals page.

This area grows 74% of Arizona's wine grapes, and is the source of the most highly rated Arizona wines by Wine Spectator, with 45 wines rated 88-90 over the past 5 years.

The Willcox area was recently granted AVA (American Viticultural Area) status. The designation of the Willcox AVA means that this area is now recognized as a unique and distinctive wine growing region in the United States. Great wine has been made here for years, and now you'll start to see the "Willcox" appellation on wine labels from this region!

If you haven't come out to explore Willcox Wine Country, it's always a good time to discover what we have to offer! If you are already familiar, then maybe it's time for another visit to see what's new. There is always a newly released wine getting poured somewhere! We hope to see you soon.
