2nd Annual Power of Wind & Water Art Show

The second annual Power of Wind & Water Art Show will be held from April 23rd through April 28th, 2018. Judging will be done on Saturday April 21st from 10am until noon. Original pieces of artwork on display during the show represent the various ways in which wind and water has been harnessed and used as energy.

Registration for the second annual Power of Wind & Water Art Show is now open. If you would like to submit an art entry it will be accepted in person at the Kimmel Education & Research Center from April 19th through April 21st , 2018 or entries can be made anytime at the Kregel Windmill Factory Museum. Any art entries made on April 21st must be brought to the Kimmel Education & Research Center by 10am on that day.

The Kregel Windmill Factory Museum is co-sponsoring this event with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Kimmel Education & Research Center here in Nebraska City. The original pieces of artwork on display during the show represent the various ways in which the wind and water has been harnessed and used as energy. Many different types of artwork will be exhibited demonstrating wind power and water power in its various aspects. These types of art include posters, paintings, photographs, illustrations, sculptures, original stories, poems, and much more. In 2017 the Power of Wind Art Show had over 225 entries from 18 different countries.
