| Description: | From 9th Annual Great American BBQ & Beer Festival Website: The 9th annual Great American Barbecue & Beer Festival returns to downtown Chandler on Saturday, March 24, 2018. This year, the event is expanding with two additional entertainment stages, twice as much country music, local entertainment, interactive experiences and elevated flavors.
The Great American Barbeque & Beer Festival will feature more than 40 BBQ Pitmasters from local, regional and national restaurants and BBQ competition teams ready to serve the masses their slow-smoked delicious meats and sides. Plus, for the first time ever, the fest will feature more beer, wine and spirit selections including vodka, whiskey, and bourbon.
New and improved experience this year include two added stages, live cooking demos, art installations, themed bars with interactive games, creative cocktails, mechanical bull riding competition, local community entertainment, eating competition, march madness lounge, expanded kids zone, and the return of the Corral zone and VIP area for country music fans and guests looking to elevate their festival experience.
This year's headlining national acts will be announced in the coming weeks. So far, the entertainment lineup include Jerrod Niemann, Jordan Davis, Russel Dickerson, Laura Walsh, Georgia Chrome, Honey Girl, Pick & Holler and Jim Bachmann & the Day Drinkers.
