Sharlot Hall Museum's Folk Arts Fair will transport visitors to a simpler time when the "Village of Traditions" returns to the shade-covered Museum campus on the weekend of June 1-2, 2019 for its 46th straight year. MARK YOUR CALENDAR.

The Museum grounds will be transformed into a traditional 19th century Arizona village featuring themed districts and emphasizing education, demonstrations and hands-on experiences.

Participate in the arts and skills essential to the lives of territorial Arizonans. Watch sheep shearing and then see it spun into yarn and woven into garments. Discover basket weaving, blacksmithing demonstrations, puppeteering shows, juggling, and folk music performances as you discover a simpler time in Arizona.Children can experience crafts of yester-year with hands-on activities corn-husk doll making, gold-panning, tin-punching, cattle brand making, and more plus everyone will savor fresh popcorn and Dutch-oven baked biscuits with freshly churned butter.

Enjoy the crafts, trades and amusements of the past a bygone era re-created! as well as good ol' fashioned FUN! Daily admission is $9 for adults 18 and over, $5 for Museum members, and free for those 17 and under. The Fair is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are available online after January 1, 2019.
